As I got older and had more free time, I started designing typefaces myself and many times that fascination with old wrong and ugly type turned out to become a good motivation for me to make more fonts. I like useless crap :) I've never reconstructed or redesigned existing fonts btw, I just remember the fonts I once saw, keep them in the back of my mind and then make my own design from scratch.
This Evil Vampire font started out as that. A bit weird blocky italic typeface that I remembered from the 1920's to the 1940's magazines. I hope you can use it, and do send me samples of what you've made! Cheers!

Every typeface has a voice. Some whisper, some shout — and the best ones say exactly what you mean before a single word is read.
Pick a font that fits your idea, set it with care, and let the letters do the talking. From bold headlines to the smallest caption, good type stays clear at every size — clean curves, even spacing, and characters that feel at home together.
A well-made font carries your message across posters, screens, packaging and print without ever getting in the way. That is the quiet craft of typography: structure you feel, but rarely notice. 0123456789 — the details matter.
